Welcome to my travel ‘glob’

 Hey who let you in?!

Oh, the front door was open? No worries. In that case, welcome to my Glob!

I know what you’re thinking. Glob sounds weird. A bit like the noise a lasagna makes when it falls out of a window.

And that’s true. What’s also true is that there are so many blogs online that I couldn’t bear to add another. Plus I think ‘glob’ sounds hilarious.

When I was going through my 7 months of chemotherapy, I was dreaming of exploring the world. So when I beat cancer, and went and did it. And I’ve been doing it ever since.

Now you’re here, please make yourself at home. Enjoy my tips, tricks and stories from the world.

And most of all…enjoy the ‘glob’.

Black Mirrors

Mirror Maze Terror - I will confess I’ve encountered terror in my life. Over the course of my 7 months of chemotherapy and subsequent surgeries he and I actually become friends in a warped way. When the spectre of death points an ethereal finger at you it seems a bond...

Lost at Sea

Lost at Sea

The San Blas Islands - The look of fear transcends language. I know this because the two Spanish speaking guides who sat perched at the back of our small single engine boat looked at each other the way anyone does when they realise things have gone from bad to worse....
